Santiago is a legal consultant with broad international experience and a strong academic foundation.
He holds a Licenciate in Law from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid—equivalent to a combined LL.B and LL.M—and has practiced in Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, the UAE, and the Cayman Islands. Santiago’s areas of focus include investment fund structuring, virtual asset frameworks, blockchain and fintech M&A, and cross-border corporate transactions. His legal work is marked by precision, clarity, and a commitment to staying at the forefront of evolving legal and regulatory developments.
In addition to his law degree, Santiago has completed graduate-level certifications in Project Management (George Washington University), Private Equity & Venture Capital (Bocconi), Financial Markets (Yale), and Blockchain in Financial Services (INSEAD). He has also received AML/CFT compliance training through the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). Santiago’s global perspective, paired with his deep technical knowledge, allows him to serve clients with modern, adaptive strategies—especially in fast-moving sectors like digital assets and emerging markets.
